A neighbourhood in North Vancouver stages its own version of the Games
Broadcaster Mike McCardell from GlobalTV BC is arguably the best storyteller on any major newscast in the country. His stories can really pull at your heartstrings sometimes. His piece that aired early in this week of a North Vancouver neighbourhood staging their own "Olympics," is one of Mike's finest moments. In it, I think we see the real Olympic spirit, and some evidence as to why we've embraced the Games.
