Qu'est-ce qui se passe sur L'Île de Granville?
There's been a tinge of controversy over the lack of French language content at the Olympic Opening Ceremony. Now, all Canadians know that next to hockey, our favourite national pastime is to bicker over the politics of language. So, the debate this week is no different. Well, CityCaucus.com cannot let this stand without some effort to reach out to our Francophone brothers and sisters. Place de la Francophonie is labeled as a celebration of French culture on Granville Island. We decided to go down there and find our for ourselves, and here is what they had to say. Oh, and for those of you who cannot understand French, here's the English translation.
